Working with a stylist is something I admired for a long time. But finding one that is willing to collaborate to create stunning images is quite hard to find. During this shoot, I had my first collaboration with Dominique, and we didn’t stop collaborating since.
Something I wanted to do for a while, Is sharing my work from previous shoots. As I really like to keep my portfolio up to date, some images got taken down on our website. So to keep them in memory, I really enjoy sharing them here with their story.
2019
The Concept
As this was the first shoot Dominique and I did together, we took some time to discuss the styling.
Something that I really love with photography is textures, I also mentioned this to Dominique and, she came up with a whole board with styling that she wanted to get for the shoot. That is something I really love about working with Dominique because with most stylist they just show up with the items they have, which left no room for me to discuss their choices and/or plan the poses, lighting and colours.
Moody Christmas
Because we shot this in December, the lighting is a bit more moody, same as the clothing and other elements of the shoot. We also focused on more creative hair to match the textures in the shot.
