In September 2020 Beau Monde contacted us to shoot a new fashion campaign for their Christmas Edition. Of course, we said yes. In this post, we take you along our shoot.
Something I wanted to do for a while, Is sharing my work from previous shoots. As I really like to keep my portfolio up to date, some images got taken down on our website. So to keep them in memory, I really enjoy sharing them here with their story.

The Concept
Because Christmas is all about formality’s, we thought about focussing on this to use unique jewellery and classic clothing. And of course my favourite colour background, beige/taupe, to compliment the skin of the models. For this concept, we wanted to stick only to two colours with the clothing. So we decided to go for the classic black and white with a little tint of red, to match those classic elements.
Planning
For these kinds of shoots we always do a lot of planning upfront, for this shoot Dominique sent us an overview of the clothing she wanted to get for this shoot. We gave our feedback and she made those changes. After we discussed the clothing, it was time for me to think of different posing options for the models to have a variety of different images. Because we got everything thought out, it was only a matter of keep everything on time during our shoot day.
The Shoot
The shoot took place in my Studio, so nothing with planning on that hand. The only real planning we needed to do was the planning of the poses and the clothing, which as you can see above did. On Pinterest, we made a board with all kind of poses and let the models do their thing. We told them upfront which was the intention with a certain look, and we created the images below.
Have a look at our work for Beau Monde Christmas 2020.
