Geen Bluf! x Make-up Studio One Face is a make-up pallet these two brands collaborate on after working together for 15 years. Collaborations are always fun to photograph, Geen Bluf is a Dutch make-up agency mainly focussing on make-up of (Dutch)movies and series. Make-up Studio is a beauty brand established in Amsterdam. They made the One Face Pallet Together.
Something I wanted to do for a while, Is sharing my work from previous shoots. As I really like to keep my portfolio up to date, some images got taken down on our website. So to keep them in memory, I really enjoy sharing them here with their story.
2019
The Concept
Geen Bluf x Make-up Studio created a make-up pallet, One Face which included for various skin tones a perfect small pallet with mainly cream products that you could us as a Primer, Concealer, Eyeliner, Eyeshadow, Blush, Highlighter en Lipstick! During the shoot in August 2019 they showcased the pallets of various of skins, the pallets and images were even mean to go to Bol.com. So the images for Geen Bluf x Make-up Studio One Face could be purchased on different places. The store in Amsterdam, Online at Make-up Studio and on Bol.com.
The Beach
So Geen Bluf took the planning of the shoot on their hands. They had a beach restaurant where we could do the make-up, around this location we could go to the dunes, on the beach and there were some fences where we could shoot in front of. One thing that they didn't mention was that it was a Nudist beach. So I was standing there, with my camera and equipment. Making sure that there were no naked people on the picture. Because, of course, it was quite a hot day out there, and it was not as empty as we hoped. But luckily, we worked our way around it.
